ENGAGING THE NEXT GENERATION FOR JOBS OF TOMORROW

OBJECTIVES OF THE TOPIC CHOSEN

The objectives of the Adni International Students’ Conference (AISC) on the

theme "Youth Empowerment for Sustainability: Engaging the Next Generation

for Jobs of Tomorrow" are to:

i. Promote Quality Education (SDG 4):

- Showcase how education can empower youth for sustainable careers.

- Highlight innovative teaching methods that prepare students for green jobs.

- Foster skills like critical thinking and problem-solving to tackle sustainability

issues.

ii. Promote Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8):

- Ensure that young people have access to opportunities for meaningful

employment and economic participation.

- Explore strategies to create inclusive job markets and support youth-led

businesses.

- Emphasize decent work conditions and sustainable economic growth to

prepare youth for a changing job landscape.

iii. Foster Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9):

- Highlight the importance of fostering innovation and building resilient

infrastructure for sustainable industrialization.

- Discuss the role of young innovators in developing cutting-edge technologies

and sustainable practices.
