Taktyle Signs
Fire Safety Signs
The Safety Signs and Signals Regulations 1996 state that non-automatic re ghting
equipment should be marked with an appropriate permanent sign.
Mandatory
These signs convey an action that must be carried out. The ‘white on blue’ colour
scheme is designated by the Safety Signs and Signals Regulations 1996.
Taktyle Braille Finger Plates
Taktyle nger plate signs are ideal for placing next to entrances or on doors to give Photoluminescent Signs
both safety and directional information. These nger plates have the added bene t
of having a Photoluminescent layer for identi cation in emergency situations. The visibility of standard
emergency signs can often
be impaired by poor lighting,
smoke or even a lack of
power. PSPA Class B material,
tested to DIN 67510 Part 1-4,
when fully charged will glow
for 10+ hours.
