Had evolution really taken place, which it never
did, then life forms should appear with gradual
changes and continue to alter over time. Yet the
fossil record shows the exact opposite. The 25-
million-year-old cricket in this fossil has been
preserved in all its detail and is exactly the same
as crickets alive today.
