Belief in Resurrection
... The hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear
His voice and come out—those who have done good will rise
to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be con-
demned. (John, 5:28-29)
Then Jesus said to his host, "... when you give a banquet, invite
the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be
blessed. Although they cannot repay you, you will be repaid at
the resurrection of the righteous [paradise]." (Luke, 14:12-14)
Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for
there are some who are ignorant of God—I say this to your
shame. But someone may ask, "How are the dead raised? With
what kind of body will they come?" How foolish! What you
sow does not come to life unless it dies. So will it be with the
resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it
is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in
glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power. (1 Corinthi-
ans, 15:34-36, 42-44)
But about the resurrection of the dead—have you not read
what God said to you. (Matthew, 22:31)
