as the proofs of creation, and denying the
evident existence of God Who created
them and the universe they live in.
Before starting our discussion,
though, it's useful to point out that
Materialist-Darwinists' self-contradictory
position arises from a conceptual defi-
ciency that has been common throughout
history. In the past, pagans and godless so-
cieties carved totems and statues of gods
with their own hands, ignorantly believ-
ing that images of stone and clay had cre-
ative power. God speaks of these people in
the Qur'an (25: 2-3):
He to Whom the kingdom of the
heavens and the earth belongs. He
does not have a son and He has no
partner in the Kingdom. He created
everything and determined it most
exactly. But they have adopted gods
apart from Him which do not create
anything but are themselves cre-
ated. They have no power to harm
or help themselves. They have no
power over death or life or resur-
rection.
