FLY EVEN IN THE DARK

OF THE NIGHT

Many bird species travel thousands of kilometers every year to

regions where they can find rich sources of food and where they
can lay their eggs and raise their offspring. Allah refers to the flight
of birds in a verse in Surat al-Mulk:

Have they not looked at the birds above them, with wings outspre-
ad and folded back? Nothing holds them up but the All-Merciful.

He sees all things. (Surat al-Mulk: 19)

Many aquatic birds successfully make long-distance flights. This is a
