ADNAN OKTAR: For one thing, Islam is a religion of
peace, as the name suggests. It is a religion of peace, love, af-
fection, compassion, friendship, solidarity and everything
good. But if you leave it in the hands of the ignorant they will
kill and bomb and create a state of disorder. If you ask why
they are doing it, they will say they are doing it for Allah's
sake. That is what happens in the hands of the ignorant. The
Christians took the Gospels and set about applying
them in a different way. They staged the Crusades
and wreaked terrible slaughter. They hanged and
slew. The same with the Jews. There is no end to
