Allah Gives Wealth or Poverty

Allah expands the provision of any of His servants He
wills and restricts it. Allah has knowledge of all things.
(Surat Al-Ankabut: 62)
Say: "O Allah, Master of the Kingdom. You give sover-
eignty to whoever You will and take sovereignty from
whoever You will. You exalt whoever You will and
abase whoever You will. All good is in Your hands. You
have power over all things." (Surah Al 'Imran: 26)

The Torah

The Lord sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and exalts. (1
Samuel, 2: 7)
But remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you pow-
er to get wealth.. (Deuteronomy, 8: 18)
Yours, O Lord, are the greatness, the power, the glory, the victo-
ry, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and on the earth
is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and You are exalted as
head above all. Riches and honor come from You, and You rule
over all.. (1. Chronicles, 29: 11-12)
