- that Allah sent Prophets to humanity throughout his-
tory, like the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and
grant him peace), and the Prophets Jesus, Moses (peace be
upon them) along with the Prophets Noah, David, Abraham,
Isaac, and Joseph (peace be upon them all); and they love
them all.
- that Allah created our lives according to destiny; and
they all believe in the Resurrection, Hell, Heaven, and the ex-
istence of the angels.
Not only in matters of faith, the People of the Book and
Muslims also have common values about morality. For ex-
ample, in a world in which prostitution, homosexuality, and
drug abuse, together with selfishness, greed, and hardheart-
edness are spreading fast, they value and seek to live by hon-
or, chastity, modesty, selflessness, honesty, compassion, mer-
cy, and unconditional love.
As Muslims we all have a profound love and respect for
Prophets Moses (pbuh) and Jesus (pbuh); we know that they
are esteemed, blessed people in the Sight of Allah, and we be-
lieve in all Prophets our Lord had sent. Furthermore, as the
requisite of the morality Allah taught us in the Qur'an, we re-
spect the beliefs, values, and traditions of all Jews and
Christians. In the Qur'an, Allah commands the Muslims to in-
vite the People of the Book to unite on a common premise:
Say: "O People of the Book! Come to a proposition that
is the same for us and you – that we should worship
none but Allah, not associate any partners with Him,
and not take one another as lords besides Allah." If they
