A Call for Unity
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it
is not proud. (1 Corinthians, 13: 4)
Wishing Others Well
Greetings or wishing well are ways to express one's best
wishes for someone else when they meet. Believers do this
without fail, even when they are busy or have urgent busi-
ness elsewhere, when they enter each other's houses or meet
somewhere. In the Qur'an, Allah commands believers to re-
ply in a similar manner, or with even nicer
wishes, when they are greeted and to say
suitable words of greeting when they en-
ter another person's house:
When you are greeted with a greeting,
return the greeting or improve on it.
Allah takes account of everything. (Surat
An-Nisa: 86)
