Pine cone

I think you all know what a pine cone is. If you
have a pine tree growing in your neighborhood, you
have seen these cones on that tree. I am about 20

million years old and as you can plainly see, there is
no difference between me and present-day pine
cones. That is, that we, like other plants, did not
evolve. Look and see how detailed my fossil is.

Like other living things, pine cones did not evolve
either. A proof of this is my 50 million- year- old-
fossil in the picture.
