the believers). A mosque founded on performing one’s duty from
the first day has a greater right for you to stand in it. In it there
are men who love to purify themselves. God loves those who
purify themselves. (Surat at-Tawba, 108)

For this We sent a Messenger to you from among you to recite
Our Signs to you and purify you and teach you the Book and Wis-
dom and teach you things you did not know before. (Surat al-
Baqarah, 151)
God showed great kindness to the believers when He sent a Mes-
senger to them from among themselves to recite His Signs to them

and purify them and teach them the Book and Wisdom, even
though before that they were clearly misguided. (Surah Al ‘Imran,
164)
Take charity from their wealth to purify and cleanse them and
pray for them. Your prayers bring relief to them. God is All-Hear-
ing, All-Knowing. (Surat at-Tawba, 103)
Gardens of Eden with rivers flowing under them, remaining in
them timelessly, for ever. That is the reward of those who purify

Remember when he came to his Lord with a pure heart. (Surat

BEING HELPFUL AND COOPERATIVE
When he arrived at the water of Madyan, he found a crowd of
people drawing water there. Standing apart from them, he found

two women, holding back their sheep. He said, ‘What are you two
doing here?’ They said, ‘We cannot draw water until the shepherds
have driven off their sheep. You see our father is a very old man.’
