LIVING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE QUR'AN
That is the repayment of the wrongdoers.’ (Surat al-Ma’idah, 28-29)
AIMING FOR THE HIGHEST OF MORALS IN
ONE’S ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIORS
Those believers who stay behind–other than those forced to by
necessity–are not the same as those who strive in the Way of God,
sacrificing their wealth and themselves. God has given those who
strive with their wealth and themselves a higher rank than those
who stay behind. God has promised the Best to both, but God has
preferred those who strive over those who stay behind by an
immense reward. (Surat an-Nisa’, 95)
And how is it with you that you do not give in the Way of God, when
the inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to God? Those
of you who gave and fought before the Victory are not the same
as those who gave and fought afterwards. They are higher in rank.
But to each of them God has promised the Best. God is aware of
what you do. (Surat al-Hadid, 10)
Do you make the giving of water to the pilgrims and looking after
the Sacred Mosque (Masjid al-Haram) the same as believing in
God and the Last Day and striving in the Way of God? They are
not equal in the Sight of God. God does not guide wrongdoing peo-
ple. (Surat at-Tawba, 19)
He Who created death and life to test which of you is best in
action. He is the Almighty, the Ever-Forgiving. (Surat al-Mulk, 2)
We did not create the heavens and earth and everything between
them, except with truth. The Hour is certainly coming, so turn away
graciously. (Surat al-Hijr, 85)
Indeed you are truly vast in character. (Surat al-Qalam, 4)
Those who listen well to what is said and follow the best of it, they
