lution never happened. As
the fossil record reveals,
living things suddenly ap-
peared together with all the
characteristics they pos-
sess, and they never un-
dergo the slightest change
so long as they remain in
existence. Fish have al-
ways existed as fish, in-
sects as insects, and rep-
tiles as reptiles. There is
no scientific validity to the
claim that species emerged
gradually.
