Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those gods
who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God [see the ev-
idence of God's existence]... how is it that you are turning back to
those weak and miserable principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by
them all over again? (Galatians, 4:8-9)

For although they knew God, they neither glorified Him as God
[Allah is beyond this] nor gave thanks to Him, but their thinking be-
came futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they
claimed to be wise, they became fools. (Romans, 1:21-22)

3. The spread of polytheism (ascribing equals to Allah):

The rest of mankind that were not killed by these plagues still did not
repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping
demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that
cannot see or hear or walk. (Revelation, 9:20)

... In the last times, some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving
spirits and things taught by demons. (1 Timothy, 4:1)

... And [they] exchanged the Glory of the immortal God for images
made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles...
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served
created things rather than the Creator [Allah is beyond this]. (Ro-
mans, 1:23-25)
