HaMashiach or the Days of the Messiah to the Jews, "Millennium" to the
Christians and de scribed as pri or to Judgment Day, "Golden Age" by the
Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).
In Judaic sour ces, the de scrip tions of both the por tents of the pe ri od
when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will ap pear in the End Times and the Golden
Age un der his rule have a great deal in com mon with those in Islamic texts.
Both faiths state that at first, peo ple will turn their backs on re li gious mor -
al val ues. For that rea son, they will suf fer many dif fi cul ties and that fol low -
ing a time of troub les, an age of beau ty and light will dawn. In the same
way, a great many Gospels pas sages de scrib ing the signs of the
End Times, as well as the age when re li gious mor al val -
ues will reign su preme, are in agree ment with Islamic
sour ces.
