Page 245 - Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is a Descendant of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh)

By indicating, some 1,400 years ago, various signs that
will be manifested in the present day, our Prophet (may Allah bless
him and grant him peace), has told us of a time when people will turn their
backs on the moral values of the Qur'an, when there will be terrible, world-
wide corruption, strife, disorder and degeneration. He has also revealed
that in the wake of this, Allah will use a holy servant, bearing the title of
the "Mahdi," to bring Qur'anic moral values to prevail across the world,
and to replace the existing spiritual degeneration with virtue, peace, secu-
rity, happiness and well-being. Our Prophet (may Allah bless him and
grant him peace) has also described how during this time the Prophet Je-
sus (pbuh), who had previously been raised into the presence of Allah, will
once again return to earth. By the will of Allah, the system of the antichrist
(dajjal) will be brought to a spiritual end and totally neutralized by the
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) during this holy age.
The great ma jor i ty of the signs dis cussed in this book have al ready
tak en place, and by the will of Allah this age we are liv ing in will be one
of great well-be ing, in which the sys tem of the antichrist is de feat ed,
and in which be liev ers and the mor al vir tues of the true faith pre -
vail across the world. Our Lord re veals how He will im pose
the mor al vir tues of the true faith through the light of faith:
