                                       senses, the ability to talk and intelligence,
                                        were granted to people by God, and that
                                        they ought to be exercised in the best way
                                          possible. He maintained that it was all
                                              too obvious that Nature was
                                               designed by God. He said that
                                                nature was simply another book
                                                written by God, and contended
                                                that the truths of science and the
                                                truths of faith cannot impugn one
                                                another since God is the author of
                     Galileo Galilei
