people out of the darkness of idolatry and
into the light of truth, knew full well that

Allah created all people and the universe
with a destiny, and that our Lord has set
down every event that we will ever experi-
ence in both worlds. For that reason, they
were esteemed individuals who were fully
submitted to Allah, turned to Him con-
stantly, and willingly obeyed His com-
mands. Believers must consider the truth
of the destiny revealed by Allah and live in

willing submission to it.
