OUR VERY EYES

We did not create the heavens, the earth, and all be-
tween them, merely in idle sport: We created them to re-
veal the truth: but most of them do not understand.
(Surat Ad-Dukhan: 38-39)
At the beginning of the book we gave the example of a man
who had been "suddenly" created. We described how this person
would inspect his own being and his environment with great ad-
miration and amazement. It was also pointed out that your situa-
tion is not a bit different from this man's; however, because of the
behaviour and habits, you might have forgotten how to
be amazed, astonished or even affected in any way
