Present-day bivalve

                 BIVALVE

                 Age: 208-146 million years old

Size: Approximately 8 centimeters (3.25 in)

                 Location: Bambamarca, Cajamarca, Peru

                 Period: Jurassic

The fossil record is replete with organisms that have
remained unchanged for hundreds of millions of years.
Another example of these is the 208-146-million-year-old
fossil bivalve pictured. Like all other fossil findings, this
                 one also refutes evolution.
