SQUIRREL FISH

                       Age: 50 million years

                      Location: Monte Bolca, Italy

                      Period: Eocene

The fossil record shows no gradual, stage-by-stage development of the kind claimed by evolution-
ists. There’s no evidence that living things are descended from any supposed common ancestor.
Findings have revealed that living things are not descended from one another and that no species
ever changed for as long as it survived.

In other words, species never evolved, as is described by the Oxford University zoologist Mark
                      Pagel:

But instead of finding the slow, smooth and progressive changes Lyell and Darwin had expected, they
saw in the fossil records rapid bursts of change, new species appearing seemingly out of nowhere and

then remaining unchanged for millions of years-patterns hauntingly reminiscent of creation. (Mark
Pagel, "Happy Accidents?," Nature 397:665, 25 February 1999)
