by Allah came to an end, his life, like that of many other
prophets, came to an end.

However, Allah ordained a different destiny for the
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and promised him that he would return
to Earth. This is our Lord's discretion, and surely there is
great wisdom behind it. One element of that wisdom (Allah
knows the truth) is that only such a miracle will enable
Christians and Jews to rescue themselves from the situation
in which they find themselves. Christians have many super-
stitions and distorted dogmas, which the Muslims do not
have, such as deifying the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) (Allah is
surely beyond that). Thus, the Prophet Jesus' (pbuh) sec-
ond coming is of great importance, for it will enable
Christianity to rid itself of such distorted beliefs and turn
to the true religious moral values of Islam. Although
