dividual. Bediuzzaman states that
"Jesus (pbuh) is a person who

works marvels and miracles." In
addition, he recalls that "Jesus
(pbuh) is a person in whom the
great majority of people believe."
Undoubtedly, Bediuzzaman,
with his superior knowledge, knew
very well that it is impossible for a
collective personality to perform
miracles. He also knew that a col-
lective personality could not be "a
person in whom the majority of
people believe." Using these attrib-
utes descriptive of the Prophet
Jesus (pbuh) in a very deliberate
manner, he gives all Muslims the
glad tidings that he will return to
Earth as "a person."

That person will be Jesus

(pbuh):

grant him peace) tells us in the ha-
dith, that the Prophet Jesus (pbuh)
