The reference in this verse to "a day whose length is
fifty thousand years" shows that the angels are not bound
by the concept of time that we are fettered by. In addition,
this is one of the proofs that there is another life beyond the
concept of time known to human beings and that this life is
not dependant upon a concept of time and space similar to
those in this world. It is possible that the Prophet Jesus
(pbuh) is living in such a dimension. (Allah knows the
truth.)
The fact that angels come to Earth to do things decreed
by Allah and at times appointed by Him shows that it is
possible, with our Lord's permission, to move from other
dimensions to ours. It is revealed in the Qur'an that angels
sometimes descend to Earth in order to transmit Allah's
revelation, and sometimes, by Allah's leave, to help and
support believers:
