The Turkic states are captive. China is

horribly oppressing East Turkestan, for
example, our brothers. They are Muslims,
our devout, pure and spotless Turkish broth-
ers. They are innocent people. Young girls and chil-
dren there are in a terrible state. But nobody knows
about it. Who knows what is going on in East
Turkestan?
EKİN TV: Nobody.
AD NAN OK TAR: They do not know. A whole
country…
EKİN TV: Nobody knows about East
Turkestan.
AD NAN OK TAR: And what a terrible thing
that is. Who knows about the secret slaughter there,
the people who disappear, the unsolved killings, the
people taken away from their homes in the middle
of the night and never heard of again?
EKİN TV: Nobody.

AD NAN OK TAR: Look, the answer to all these
things is the Turkish-Islamic Union. That is a human
debt for everyone, even if they are irreligious. If it is
an obligation for a Muslim and a human debt for the
irreligious, then it is a debt for all humanity.
