J uldiz, another journal in Kazakh, is
one of the leading magazines of
Kazakhstan. Harun Yahya’s article, published
in the February, 2002, issue, is about the life of
the Prophet Abraham. One part of the article
reads:
The prophet Ibrahim is often referred to in
the Qur'an and is distinguished by God as
an example to people. He conveyed the mes-
sage of Allah to his people who worshipped
ideols and he warned them so that they
might fear God. His people did not listen to his warnings but, on the
contrary, opposed him. When the oppression of his people increased,
Ibrahim had to move elsewhere with his wife, the prophet Lut and
possibly a few other people who went with them.
