PORTENTS AND FEATURES OF THE MAHDI'S COMING

During the cap ture of Constantinople, the Mahdi will
plant a ban ner while per form ing ablu tions for the morn -
ing prayer. The sea will divide into two, the water will
move away from him, and he will fol low the path thus
opened up to the other shore.

THE MAHDI'S WORKS WILL CONTAIN NO SHAME
OR CRUELTY
I find the Mahdi in the books of the pro phets as fol lows:
Neither cru el ty nor shame will exist in the Mahdi's prac -
ti ces.

THE MAHDI WILL RULE THE WORLD, JUST LIKE
DHU'L QARNAYN (AS) AND THE PROPHET
SULAYMAN (AS)
The Qur'an reveals that Dhu'l Qarnayn (as) and
Prophet Sulayman (as) caused Islamic moral val ues to
pre vail through out the world. The had iths reveal that,
just like these two pro phets, the Mahdi will do the same:

The Mahdi will rule Earth, just like Dhu'l-Qarnayn (as)
and Prophet Sulayman (as).
