A CALL FOR A TURKISH-ISLAMIC UNION
AN INTERVIEW WITH MR. ADNAN OKTAR
BY CRIMEAN NEWSPAPERS,
NOVEMBER 14th, 2008
Ad nan Ok tar: The Turkish-Islamic Union is
not utopian. That would be like asking how
Konya and Istanbul, Erzurum and Ankara came
together. It is the state of division that is pecu-
liar. Would it be at all logical for one to take Erzu-
rum or Konya from us and say that "your uniting to-
gether is a pipe dream"? Division was forcibly im-
posed on us at one time. But if there is a nation, and
everyone uses the same language and shares the same
religion, then they are one nation. How could
they all be separate? ... Of course the
states will remain separate. Azerbai-
jan, for example, will remain
as a separate state, but
there are two states,
one nation.
