General Structure
The Turkish Islamic Union must have a structure
that preserves member states' independence, national
borders, rights, and interests. Each sovereign state must
strive to unite under a shared Islamic culture, develop
common policies, and establish the legislative and ad-
ministrative organs that will implement them. The pur-
pose here is not to achieve a structural merger of states,
but to unite behind common policies and interests in
order to achieve the political power that such a union
would have.
