time to time. Muslim nations should solve their own problems,
for then their problems will not be dragged into the international
arena, the proposed solutions will be in their interest, and a
united Islamic world will send out a message of power and sta-
bility. One of the Islamic world's greatest troubles is its current
inability to produce such common policies and effective strate-
gies even on matters of direct concern.
