How Jesus (pbuh) recommended that

everything be done for God's approval

In the Gospel, Jesus advises people to act for God's approval, not
for his. This means it is Almighty God's approval that people must
seek, not that of Jesus.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of
God. (1 Corinthians 10:31)
