much loved. Our love for Jesus stems from our love of God. The more
we love God, the more our love for Jesus will grow and be strength-
ened.
The fact that Jesus is a manifestation of God like all other things,
does not, of course, reduce his worth. He is a virtuous and pure ser-
vant of God, a blessed and lovely prophet chosen by our Lord. Loving
him for these fine qualities and for God’s sake is far more valuable and
excellent. And that is the form of love that God will find pleasing and
that needs to be shown.

God Is Everywhere

We created humanity and We know what his own self whispers
to him. We are nearer to him than his jugular vein. (Koran, 50:16)

Some Muslims and Christians interpret the passage "We are near-
er to him than his jugular vein" to mean a kind of spiritual closeness,
