tee of Union and Progress raided the Sublime Porte (central govern-
ment building of the Ottoman Empire) and overthrew the govern-

ment with a coup. This duo plunged the Ottoman Empire into WWI,
which became her death sentence and caused the loss of all Arab ter-

ritories.
