between 1837-1857 (below) are shown in pink.
These regions were company rule areas.
Over the course of a century, the British deep state managed to take control of In-
dia. It is especially noteworthy that company rule areas were usually found along
trade routes, in metropolitan areas, coastlines and in border regions.
