Therefore, it is the duty of a Muslim only to
explain the facts and to invite people to accept
them. Whether or not people accept the invita-
tion is completely up to their own conscience.
God reveals this truth in the Qur'an when He
says that there is no compulsion in religion.

There is no compulsion in religion. True guid-
ance has become clearly distinct from error.
Anyone who rejects false deities and has belief
in God has grasped the Firmest Handhold,
which will never give way. God is All-Hear-
ing, All-Knowing. (Qur'an, 2:256)
