272 Islam Denounces Terrorism

The assessments above reveal that terror has no place in any of the
Divine religions and that it is a crime committed against humanity.
Revealing the inherently contradictory nature of the concept of "Islam-
ic terror" provides us with an important vantage point:

                 1) All countries should act with caution, sensitivity and
wisdom. The world community at large must take the op-
portunities to live side by side in peace and must be open to

all suggestions and works to this end. This is possible only
if they know each other better, and study history, religion,
art, literature, philosophy, science, technology, and culture.

                 2) That Islam is a religion of love, friendship, peace and
brotherhood must be explained in all aspects and Islamic

communities must be encouraged to understand this fact. The
solution to combat radical factions in Islamic countries
should not be "compulsory secularisation" or war on terror
based solely on military intervention. On the contrary, such
a policy will simply serve to incite a reaction from the
masses. The solution is to abandon the radical mindset
blended with Darwinist education and to speak about Islam
in accordance with the Qur'an. This results in the embracing
of the values of the Qur'an such as human rights, democracy,

freedom, high morality, science, spirituality, and aesthetics,
and in the appearance of a Muslim model which offers mean-
ingful happiness and bliss to humanity.

Muslims must explain and live by the moral values com-

manded by the Qur'an. Muslims have the responsibility to
take the Prophet (pbuh) as their model, who lived by the
teachings of the Qur'an in the best manner, not those who
misapply the faith and lead to a misunderstanding of Islam.
