The Window was created when three Foundations’

students joined an unassuming Rapier meeting at the

first activity period of the 2020 year. All three of us were

scared to join the meeting because the high schoolers

were talking about something way over our heads. So

Ms. DeGracia talked to Mrs. Luke about the possibility

of re-starting the old art and literature Foundations

magazine - The Window. Flannery, Anna, and I were

thrilled at the possibility of having a Foundations club,

so we agreed, and The Window was created! Through

countless emails with Mrs. Luke, Mrs. Kennedy, Ms.

DeGracia, and the other Foundations teachers, we

created a talented staff of ten seventh and eighth

graders, two amazing moderators, and forty-five

creative and brilliant contributors, we have created the

Window, an exclusively Foundations version of Rapier.
