Pop Up Hood system – System operation

• When the pressure sensor detects an impact above a fixed amount, the system activates, and

lifts the hood by pushing up the Pop Up Hood lifter assembly and bending the hinge

• The Pop Up Hood system cannot be reused once it has operated
