Three-dimensional Button Knot
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
The knotting technique and the tightening process of a conventional button knot can
be altered to produce this modified knot. To do so, reverse the knotting process,
spread out the knot body and tie side knots on the four cord sections surrounding the
knot body. The knot body will make a 90-degree shift and have a more pronounced
3D effect, making it suitable for incorporation in hanging ornaments.
