Type 1 Cloverleaf Knot with Opposite Corners Sharing an Ear Loop
Take the straight line in opposite corners and apply the wrap one, pull one sharing
technique.
TYING INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. Make ear loop 1 as shown below. Step 2. Do the same for ear loop 2. Step 3.
Wrap ear loop 3 around ear loops 2 and 1. Step 4. Wrap ear loop 4 around ear loop
1. Step 5. Pull ear loop 5 through ear loop 1. Step 6. Pull ear loop 6 through ear loops
3, 1 and 2 and wrap around ear loop 3. Step 7. Pull ear loop 7 through 6 and wrap
around 3. Step 8. Pull ear loop 8 through 1, wrap around 4, pull through 6, wrap
around 3, pull through 5 and wrap around 1.
HINTS
• First tighten the four cloverleaf knots with two outer loops to prevent the formation
becoming loose. As far as possible, arrange the entire formation into a circle.
• The newly combined central knot body is the main focus. You can make different
parts tighter or looser according to taste and to produce different effects.
