It’s been a period of expansion at Minesoft over the past few months. Since the acquisition at the beginning of 2022, we’ve had several people joining the leadership team with years of IP experience and we’re thrilled that they’re able to bring their expertise to the table! This includes Mason Slaine as Chairman, Karl Jaeger as CFO, and Dave Shea as CEO
of MLM 2.
New appointments
Spencer Slaine is joining the Global Senior Executive Team at Minesoft as President of North America. Spencer is an accomplished IP professional and executive who has worked in various roles at several IP service and software organizations over the last seven years. In his new role, Spencer will lead the expansion of Minesoft’s North American footprint. This will involve overseeing customer success, sales, and marketing, focusing primarily on new business growth and strategy in North America.
We have two new additions that we’re excited to welcome to the Development team. Farzam Farzanehfar has joined as an IT Project Manager where he’ll be helping lead some exciting new projects currently in the pipeline at Minesoft. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise from a background in consulting, project development and management. Farzam is joined by Cuong Tran, who has
8 years’ experience in the IT industry. In his new role he’ll be focussing on providing support for the Minesoft IT infrastructure and software.
Anoushka Varma is joining Minesoft’s Support & Marketing teams. Before starting her new role, she worked for companies in the Med Tech sector and is looking forward
to applying her prior experience to help understand our client’s highly specialised needs. Anoushka is excited to kick-start her career at Minesoft, that will allow her to utilise the communication and analytical skills that she has gained through her university and previous work experience.
Zaid Shawqi has recently joined the Business Development team to focus on growing Minesoft’s presence in the MENA region. Alongside his work, he is completing his LLM studies in Intellectual Property Law at Queen Mary University of London. Zaid has also previously worked at leading regional law firms in the middle east and start-up companies so brings a fresh perspective to the company.
