It is a matter of immense joy and pride that
the students of S2 Biomedical Engineering

are bringing out a class magazine

‘Chrysalis’. The name of the magazine

clearly represents the present status of our
students under lockdown due to Covid 19.

The magazine will definitely help our

students to fight the imposed loneliness

and survive the Corona crisis.
It opens an opportunity for the students to express their literary
and artistic creativity. I am sure that this remarkable attempt

and fine beginning will inspire the budding writers and artists to

fulfill their promises in the long run.

Our institution has achieved glorious heights in academics,

extension activities and social service areas. Behind all these

achievements lie the hard work, dedication and discipline of our
students and staff. I am extremely proud and gratified to be a part of

these efforts. I am certain that with the cohesion and commitment of

our students and staff, we will be able to conquer greater heights in
the future, both in academic and cultural levels.

We should strive to grow into engineers and technicians who are

aware of the social and cultural implications of our profession. We

should also be careful to exhibit the highest standards of ethics and
good citizenship. In future our students should be able to impress

the world with their professional competence, spirit of service and

overall integrity.
I hope to see ‘Chrysalis’- metamorphose into a beautiful

‘Papillion’. I wish all the best to the team behind the

publication of this class magazine.’
