The types and specification of glass can have
a dramatic effect on the performance of windows
and doors, home comfort and heating costs.

The commonly referred to U values give an
indication of heat loss; the lower the value,
         the better the insulation.
The Uw value is the overall U value
of the window (frame & glass)
The Ug value is known as a
         centre pane value (glass only)

Softcoat Low-E glass, warm edge spacers and
glazing units filled with inert gases Argon or Krypton
dramatically reduce U values on Bereco products.

All double and triple glazed units utilise Softcoat
Low-E coatings as standard. This special reflective
coating restricts heat exchange between the panes
of glass keeping the inner pane warmer.

Insulating warm edge spacer bars around the
         perimeter glazing eliminate internal condensation
caused by the cooling thermal bridge effect. White,
black, grey and brown colours are available to
         complement the product finish.

        DOUBLE GLAZING
Available with Argon filled units only, designs offer
centre pane Ug values as low as 1.0 W/m²K and
overall Uw values of 1.2 W/m²K.
        TRIPLE GLAZING
Our triple glazed products are available with either
an Argon or Krypton filled unit. Excellent centre
pane Ug values as low as 0.5 W/m²K and overall Uw
values of 0.8 W/m²K can be achieved with Krypton.
