The Planet’s Last Dance
Rachel Emerson (Jinsoyun)
From the Artist:
And as his Mother promised him, the planet was
his vessel. Its body became his cradle, the moon
and stars his toys, the nebulas his blanket. Our
lifeblood, our souls, became his sustenance. The
Lifestream poured free, filling him, and finally the
child was happy. Happy with the destruction he had
wrought. He had taken everything we held dear—
made us suffer as he had suffered. At long last, he
had what he wanted. He was alone. He was free.
“I really love the level of detail—the line work is so
intricate, the colours so beautiful. I especially love
the hints of orange and red that appear behind
Sephiroth to make him pop out of the cold blue
space, as well as the extremely soft coloring on his
wings. I also appreciate the accuracy of the world
map ;)”

“Excellent use of the prompt, and the details are
awesome, not chaotic at all, rather they flow
together in an almost symbolic way. Gorgeous
colors as well, and I love the accuracy of the
continents on the Planet. A beautiful representation
of what is most certainly a catastrophic event”
