ORGANIZATION
WHAT MATTERS MOST
STABILITY OF INFRASTRUCTURE
The fund is expected to be insolvent by June 2016, which will effectually halt or delay any new projects and have a severely debilitating effect on the economy. There are short-term and long-term funding solutions that should be considered.
4. WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
AND READINESS
A high-quality, skilled workforce is an essential ingredient to the economy.
The workforce must have the tools and resources to be successful and to meet the expanding needs of employers.
Experts will dissect these topics and craft a master plan to present to legisla- tors. The Summit will bring together a multitude of strong business organizations and individual members to increase the state’s positive economic momentum and reduce barriers to spur competitiveness.
