THE 2015 ANNUAL GOLF AND TENNIS CLASSIC— A SMASHING HIT!
More than 250 participants enjoyed a fun day of connecting through golf at Mercer Oaks Golf Club on July 20 as part of the MIDJersey Chamber’s Annual Golf and Tennis Classic. Simultaneously, tennis players enjoyed the Annual “Ed Meara” Memorial Tennis Chal- lenge at Trenton Country Club. The day’s sponsors included AAA Mid- Atlantic, Capital Health, Investors Bank, Szaferman Lakind Blumstein and Blader, P.C., the Loff Warringer Group Merrill Lynch Wealth Man- agement, the Bank of Princeton, and Thomas Edison State College.
With support from Frank’s Italian Ice, Sam’s Club, and Ansell, Grimm and Aaron, PC, the Cham- ber hosted a fun-filled
day for the young clients of Home Front on Aug.
5. The day’s activities in- cluded a barbeque lunch, face painting, dunk tank, and a special appear- ance by Boomer from the Trenton Thunder.
No slow time of the year at the MIDJersey Chamber. The August Breakfast Club, hosted by the Quaker Bridge Mall and sponsored by M&T Bank and Comcast Spotlight Sales, attracted more than 50 attendees.
Janell Zoratti, CFO of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce, is one of five finalists for the NJBIZ CFO of the Year awards program, which celebrates New Jersey’s financial executives at all levels including controllers, chief finan- cial officers, chief accounting officers, finance directors, and business man- agers who contribute to the success of New Jersey’s economic growth
and stability. Zoratti is a finalist in the Non-profit Organization Category. All finalists will be recognized and the winner in each category will be an- nounced during an awards breakfast and ceremony on Friday, Oct. 9.
