Welcome!

Welcome to the Dairy Women’s
Network Regional Leader Handbook.
The purpose of this handbook is to further your
understanding of our organisation, who we are, who we
work with and how we strive to achieve this.
With Regional Leaders joining their volunteer roles at
different times, and the appointment of Hub Leaders,
now seems the time to create a resource that would
help to unite our tribe further with ‘same page-ness’
on the Volunteer Regional Leader role, our Network
Partners, and the processes required to ensure effective
and transparent operation.

With that in mind, we have created a number
of resources. Included in this hand book is an
Elevator Pitch, which is a collective experience and
understanding of our network and the Regional Leader
role to assist you when explaining Dairy Women’s
Network role in the delivering knowledge with purpose
and leadership for the industry, and the role you play in
this.

You will also see a comprehensive section on all of our
Network Partners, why they partner with us, and further
opportunities to work together in your region.

It is also about sharing ideas and information to help you
in your role. We have created ‘one-pagers’ on important
processes such as funding regional events.
Change is the only constant. We look forward to working
with you and leading through this time of considerable
change or as we like to say making a difference the Dairy
Women’s Network way - courageously and authentically.
