Conclusion:
In conclusion, a profit-making sport organization is a company in business with a main aim
to make money for its owners or shareholders. A non-profit sporting organization is a
company that does not intend to earn a profit but needs funds to provide services or
support to the public. Each business type has advantages and disadvantages. Profit and non-
profit organisations are completely different and work in different sectors and areas in the
sporting industry but there are a few aspects where they interlink and can feed off each
other to succeed. In my opinion there is no bigger or better type of organisation. If the
organisation can do its job without making a profit then you know it has got really good
backing and funding but as long as the organisation does what it needs to do and make a
positive change in some way in the community then all is good. It is when making a profit
becomes the main focus that businesses focus on the wrong thing and fail.
