The 1914 Star. For those who served on the Western Front
from August 5th 1914 until 22nd November 1914. Those under
gunfire had a bronze bar added.
The 1914-1915 Star. For those who served on the Western
Front from November 23rd 1914 until end of November 1915.
The British War Medal. For those who served overseas in a
theatre of war between 5th August 1914 and 11th November
1918. Awarded to both civilians and service personnel.
The Victory Medal. Sent automatically to the last known
address of servicemen and women. It was inscribed with the
name, number and regiment of each individual.
The Silver War Badge. Awarded to military personnel who were
discharged as a result of wounds or illness to show that they
had served in the war.
Dead Man’s Penny. A large bronze plaque 120mm in diameter,
individually named with rank and regiment for those who died.
